EMT Refresher

Notes:	We will need to know how many hours you need to complete for the NREMT. The cost of the course is $390.00. Our refresher courses are completed with our ongoing courses, making it easy for you to pick days and times to come in according to your availability. The refresher course is self paced, meaning you complete it on the days you can until you meet your required hours. We have a Saturday Only that meets from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and a Monday/Thursday class that meets for 4 hours on both days (see below). The EMT Class schedules: EMT Saturday Only Class - meets from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm (8 hours) EMT Monday / Thursday Classes - day class from 9:00 am -- 1:00 pm (4 hours each) OR evening class from 6:00 pm -- 10:00 pm (4 hours each) Once you complete your allotted hours, you will receive your Refresher Certificate for you to take to the NREMT. Florida State EMTs are required to renew their certification every two years by December 1 on even years. EMTs can recertify by completing hours of continuing education (State has its own hours/requirements as well as the NREMT). Orlando Medical Institute offers a Florida State approve EMT refresher course thoughtout the year.
