Notes:	READ CAREFULLY!! Student does not need to attend all 6 dates that are posted. Student MUST attend either a Tuesday or a Saturday each week for 3 weeks to complete this comprehensive 40 hour IV Therapy Certification. To be clear the student has the choice to attend either the Tuesday or Saturday session in the week. The 2nd week same thing and the 3rd week same thing. The student and mix and match for example the student can attend Tuesday the first week, Saturday the second week, and Tuesday again the 3rd week.

This course allows the student to attain the entry level compentiecies in IV Therapy. Students will be familiarized with different options of Intravernous Therapies. Students will be prepared to initiate basic IV Therapy; safety and infection control; IV supplies and equipment; fluids and components; patient communication; monitioring and maintaining; documentation and discontinuation; calculations; medications and solutions; abbrevations.
